A day at Spurn

By helenlinda
Thanks for C&C for the first Spurn image yesterday. I've taken sooooooooooooooo long to get this completed and soooooooooooo many versions!!!
[I uploaded v4 of yesterday's upload as a layer in the wallpaper section of the downloads, so now I can say that I have downloaded my upload !!]
So anyway, I've used this download again today, but let the real rust come through
So its an image that sums up a day at Spurn for me - the drive through the long twisting open countryside [usually watching combines at work] -driving past the wind turbines at the top of a log drive up the hill - walking around the point and seeing both of the lighthouses and of course another composition with the tractor.
We do this pilgrimage every year - Tony to see how the road has eroded and me for everything else!!
So for those who also ravel this well trodden route, I hope this brings together some of your memories too
Thanks for looking
Helen

You have clearly put a lot of time and effort into this super image. Love all the separate elements but they all work so well together here. Wonderful creation.

Mmmmm, I'm enjoying this more and more as I look at it. There's a slightly coquettish sheep in the bottom right corner...

I like Spurn Point for photography and I like the way you have captured the essence of the place in this composite. It is not conventional but that is its appeal.
