A day at the fair

By liarsdance
A few images from our day at the steam fair Smile For me, these events are all about the tractors and the people who lovingly rebuild and maintain them. There's just something about these magnificent machines that really gets to me - and the passion of their owners is a delight to see.

The middle engine is James Ragdale's Garrett Tractor ‘Invincible’. When James acquired no33259 he was only 11 years old, and Invincible was essentially a boiler with many parts needing to be completely rebuilt. However young James was able to draw on the vast experience of father David and grandfather Fred, and he proudly brought it to the Driffield rally last year - just after his 18th birthday.

Many thanks for your votes and comments about the Great Crested Grebe - much appreciated as always. Hope you have a good weekend Smile

Heath
