A dragonfly

By Barbaraj
A first attempt at a dragonfly. It has blue beady eyes and blue in its tail. it wastaken from a bridge looking over the green leaves in the river bed. I have cropped the photo right and left as it was a mass of green leaves.

I hope you like it. I enjoyed trying to capture it, not easy on a windy day!.

This is beautiful - not just for the dragon fly but the composition and colouring of the background. The long criss-crossing leaves and blue/green contrast make a wonderful setting. One of your best.
