I was stationed in West Berlin 1966-68 when a new issue of puttees appeared at the quartermaster's store. We started to put them on to find they went on and on forever. Somehow WW1 puttees were still held back in the UK and were forwarded to my unit by mistake. We sent them back ASAPSad
