A few shots from the last two outings

By Ray42
My apologies for not being on epz for a while - various problems with my mother and myself - a bit of b***** when you are both not well. Sally (alias the Pixie) has been absolutely marvelous looking after us both. Ventured out a couple of times and not much to show for it, and isnt it cold - probably being stuck in doors I notice it more. Thanks to all those who commented and voted on the A mixed bag from December 2010. Always very much appreciated. Todays are a few shots taken this year - not a lot or exciting so my apologies. Comments and modifications are welcomed as alway
1 - (above) Shelduck (Tadorna tadorna)
2. - Greenfinch (Carduelis chloris)
3. - Carrion Crow (Corvus corone)
4. - A record shot of a Chiffchaff (Phylloscopus collybita) - probably an immigrant from Siberia

The Shelduck is delightful and it is a very fine portrait but my favourite has to be the Crow. I love their iridescence and you have captured it very well.
