A Flying Bimbo

By sherlob
Earlier this year my wife and I agreed to adopt my step-son's 13year old dog Bimbo. We have in affect become Bimbo's retirement home. Over the years Bimbi (I will not shout Bimbo in the open - I'm too old to be dealing with the agro of a passer by who might take offence) has understandably become less active - preferring a gentle stroll to her once manic ball chasing. However, take her to the beach and it is as if the years fall away and the puppy re-emerges. Run Bimby, run!

I have an 11 year old Jack girl she runs as fast as she ever did but not for as long.
Well captured here, all 4 feet off the ground !!

OK, the image is brilliant, the description made me laugh.
Years ago a colleague of Bill's acquired a kitten for his young daughters. In their infinite wisdom they named it Pansy.
So Barry was stuck for twenty years with the task of calling it back home every night, round about closing time...

Dogs on beaches are amongst my favourite things. They always look so happy and in turn, make us feel happy too.
What a super little dog. Smile

We rehomed Frostie in January, but he used to be called Othello. There was no way I was calling that out every night, living in deepest, darkest Ilford as we do. Some people want locking up. Grin
