A Formidable Sky

By Anna62
Thank you to all who took the time to vote and comment on" Evening Reflections " Smile Much appreciated Smile

Somewhere beneath that grey ominous cloud cover is the Sydney Harbour Bridge! This was taken a couple of days ago..the sky darkened very quickly and just stopped short of allowing the four horsemen of the Apocalypse to come through...I packed up my gear in preparation for this massive storm..and once again..nothing happened..it all blew over and the sky was blue again with some scattered clouds. Amazing.

Very dark and dramatic. Much prefer v1 which has better defined cloud shapes (and I prefer the inky colour). All we've had in London is blue skyTongue.

I went to Bradley's Head, just behind Taronga Park Zoo in Mosman..about a 10 minute drive from Manly Smile Get a really good view of the western sky from there

What a great viewpoint Anna but I didn't know you could see our Tyne Bridge from there. Lovely threatening sky with my preference being V1.

Very dramatic and I prefer #1. See if you like it better if you crop of the large white area of sky at the top. I would also crop out the white spot just above the RH side of the bridge.

V1 for me Anna. It is a nice crop and emphasises the clouds. I also like the silhouette of the harbour bridge. This must be one of the few times when our weather patterns are somewhere near to each other's.

Keep them coming.
