I'm just looking at V1 here ...

Four years on I remember these - something to do with my own convent school education... (In some ways this isn't far from the truth, although my nuns favoured Irish whiskey... )

It's a pity you cut off the foreground feet, the two pairs on the right make up for it though.

I'll try a quick Mod. I want to:

Skew out the top right corner to balance the slant of the figure on the left;

Add some brightness and contrast, the light was typical Edinburgh and this looks a bit underexposed to me;

Get rid of that wretched high-vis vest. They really are the curse of modern photography!

I might also try a b&w, which I suspect would be different to yours!

The unfortunate thing about multiples in the CG is that we have only the exif from the first shot. This was from your underexposed phase! There is a good shot in there trying to get out; maybe two or three actually.

V1 is well and truly under exposed. There are other problems as Moira sys, but the under exposure is over riding.

V2 is a decent shot with interest. I rather like that one.

V3 is a shot of the crowd. All very sharp and eye pulling but not as much as the girls blue pants. Not very elegant.

V1 has been covered.

V2 s a good little cameo. I do find the person in the background is a distraction from the main group, so a crop from the right is in order. Because the faces and poses are strong the image is best just concentrating on them.

You've focussed on the photographer rather than the performers - an interesting choice, but the performers are key to this so the focus is best on them. Alternatively, I would make then more blurred which could have been done at the time with a very wide aperture. Unfortuantely no exif data is available to know if you could have gone wider but it can be changed in software so I'll upload a mod to give an idea.

For V3 the focus is on the crowd and I can see why you've done that given their facial expressions.
However, it'd have been more effective to have focussed on the performer, as she is the largest and closest element, and is where the action is so is where the eye is drawn. Even if the faces in the crowd were not pin sharp we could still see their expressions.

thanks for crits and comments
