This is certainly a peaceful place Bill. I prefer a graveyard a bit wild looking, there's a lot more of a historical ambience and sense of rest. The colour versions work best with the greens and autumn leaf litter in the soft light, the mono 's are too limited in tonal range to hold interest.

The monos are compelling, Bill...and the color...they are just beautiful. The light you complained about makes for wonderfully subdued, saturated color....almost like shooting in the rain.
And I find those small old grave sites, often family sites fascinating. When I am cycling out in the country, I sometimes come upon them.

Graveyards always seem sad places to me, but they do make good photographic locations. Two fine captures here, Bill, have to go for the colour versions, the lead being my fave 👍
