A Helping Hand !!!!

how can I improve this pic - the back ground is not very good but I think the hands and hedgehog are in good detail advice would be really appreciated

The hedgehog and hands are perfectly sharp and have good tones and contrast so nothing to improve there. As you've said, the background is poor. The solution is, simply, to shoot with a better background! Shooting against the sky would have given a plain white background; walking over to the trees that are visible would have given something green and mottled. Getting the person holding the hedgie to kneel would have given you the fence.

The mod is spot on
Its not always that easy to choose your background .. but if tyou have the time then it makes it all alot easier

This is a great little hedgehog and the final cropping you gave it on Fuji site is about perfect.

I don't consider myself good enough to criticise, but if the hands and the hog could be separated from the original background for something less distracting then IMO it would be a cracker. (It's pretty good as it is).
