Many thanks to those who voted or commented on A Day At The Museum, and especially to Bob for his valued award.
This was taken on the day before the latest lockdown, when we drove over to Totland Bay, IW, and walked up onto Headon Warren, which overlooks The Needles and Alum Bay, seen here. We'd gone particularly to see the heather, which the area is know for, and I had a sunset across the heather to The Needles shot in mind, but, surprisingly, the heather still wasn't out.
As the sun started to drop away, this couple very kindly sat in the foreground, doubtless doing the same as us, and enjoying a view it seems we won't be able to enjoy, legally, for another month at least, unless they live in the area, of course. Will the heather have been and gone by then, I wonder?
Initially, I did this as a complete silhouette, but finally put a bit more detail back in the shadows, to give some added depth. Hope you like it.
Thanks for looking. Allan
