A little light reading..

By Sezz
I finally managed to go aboard the Cutty Sark in Greenwich yesterday, something I've wanted to do for a long time - beautifully restored after the awful fire of 2007.

The Cutty Sark is a British clipper ship. Built on the Clyde in 1869 for the Jock Willis Shipping Line, she was one of the last tea clippers to be built and one of the fastest, coming at the end of a long period of design development which halted as sailing ships gave way to steam propulsion.

The image is a still-life taken in the living quarters, I just liked the colour contrast of the books against the warm richness of the woodwork, also the reflection in the mirror.

My thanks for your time, as always your thoughts/comments are very welcome.

Regards - Sarah J x

Got me thinking of what their idea is in having a torn page displayed like that.
