Award Shortlist

A Long Way from Cowes

By Fefe
Good morning folks, Firstly a great big thankyou to the response to my image "Artrutx"GrinGrin I am totally thrilled to bits with the awards, and so unexpected, I was in two minds when I uploaded.
Now today's image's from Menorca were taken at Ciutadella the former capital of Menorca. ( The capital is now Mahon) On a yacht from Cowes in the Isle of Wight........I was not on the yacht you understandTongueSad It just caught my eye, and a very beautiful boat it was...... Although I would have loved to give that shiney chrome jobbie a polish with a chamoisTongue....... You can tell how nautical I amBlush
V2 taken further up the port, wish I had had some rich tea biscuits for themWink
Hope you like them, Have a great weekend, the sun is shiningGrinGrinGrin

Shiny chrome jobbie sounds a perfectly valid nautical term to me, but then again I refer to the pointy end and the blunt end, much to the disdain of my nautically aware (snob) husband.

Love both images and I'm sure the fish will be thrilled with V2.

Brilliant Mrs, absolutely brilliant, it's amazing that you can fly off to foreign parts and realise how small the world is............. When in Mallorca, spotted a boat registered in Whitby, as we commented we then heard a voice say............ 'I'm a Yorkshireman tha knows, from Yorkshire'
