A momentary lapse of adhesion

By javam
One from a mostly wet Goodwood Festival of Speed on Sunday.

The hill climb had nearly dried out by the time the final speed shootout took place, but not quite enough for Katsuaki Kubota to get his Lola-Cosworth T500 safely through the bales after the flint wall.

I imagine the quantity of blur will not appeal to most, but it happens when you are panning right at 1/60 and the car starts rotating in a different direction.

I liked it, so it gets an upload.

Katsuaki walked away unscathed thankfully. The Lola's departure was not so dignified.
