Graham - walking boots, yes, though they won't be taking me far: mountain bike - no, not at my age! My son does that stuff, but I view bikes as unstable and vulnerable - as they are on the road I live on...

Round here - the sooner there are separate networks for bikes (as there are, increasingly, for pedestrians in the Lakes) the better. They are an unhappy mix with cars...
