A peaceful retreat

I guess I'm really lucky to have this place to read and reflect.
I don't take it for granted as it's a recent retreat.
My father, who passed years ago now, made the clock.
The book is a Wilbur Smith classic, signed first edition of "The Eye of the Tiger"
The Whiskey is my favorite Islay Malt "Laphroaig"
And the Candle is a Woodwick Crackling candle. If you've never seen them try one out. Not cheap but beautiful fragrances and that crackle is so restful.

I recently commented on one of my pictures that a photo should really evoke emotions a mood or at least a question.
This for me evokes peace and tranquility.
