A Place For All Reasons

By LynneJoyce
More pictures of Baildon Moor all taken today (14.04.2018) showing the variety of leisure uses that this lovely location provides, always assuming that you are fit enough to get up there. The opener shows a couple picnicking at Trig Point, V1 shows one of the steep paths on the long trek up to the top. Several feature my favourite, though not terribly cooperative model, Ansel, enjoying the location and V's 3 & 11 of him give some nice shadows to fit in with the Saturday theme.

The ground is saturated as shown in V4 but it was worth the squelchy walk to enjoy the sunshine and the lovely views. V14 is an indulgent, very long shot showing my house from the top of the moor. I have added V15 for Taggart's benefit. The rest, I hope, speak for themselves.

As ever the exif applies only to the opening shot. Thank you for viewing and I hope that you enjoy at least some of these images.

A fine set documenting the conditions on the Moor as at present: there is certainly plenty of bogs for Ansel to get a splash in, and enough mud to cover your boots generously. Lovely wee clumps of daffodils here and there, not what I might have expected there.
The view down to the neighbouring township shows off the street patterns and houses so well.
A set that will remind you of a strenuous day out but given the weather no doubt pleasant memories too.

As always a set of excellent images - very wet and squelshy but well worth the effort for the views. My favourite today is V5.

A fine and varied collection of images here, Lynne, does look rather boggy with all the rain we've had! Smile

Golfers, cyclists and dog walkers amidst the moor, water and daffodils - an interesting mix Lynne - it is good to see where others live.
Ansel is a beautiful dog however mischievous!

The golf course looks challenging but it must be fab to live in such breathtaking surrounding. I'd be up on top most days with the camera.
