A PRAYER FOR SUFFERERS

By dimalexa
Instead of something for Silly Sunday I decided to upload a picture full of devoutness, as a prayer for all those suffering from the virus,
but at the same time it conveys the message of hope and optimism.
Taken in an old, small historical church at Chalandri, about 16,5 months ago.
Greece, Athens, Chalandri - 22/11/2018

This os wonderful and deeply profound, Dimitris.

To me, the work that many of us in EPZ have been showing and talking about has felt very moving to me....the internet can be a dark, nasty and dangerous place....and I think that what we do here is the very best of what the internet can be---sharing of images, ideas, friendship and community in a world in crisis. That brings us together and makes the world a smaller place.

Thank you for this contribution, Dimitris.

Wonderfully atmospheric, Dimitris.
I like the two sides of the door, one showing daylight of the world outside, and the other welcoming into the candlelight and inner peace.
My wife and I have lit many of those candles for those who were close to us in body but now in spirit.

An evocative image Dimitris, the sentiment you make, tells me much about you. A man I would delight in sharing a drink with, preferably somewhere in Greece.
