A precious flower

By Mavis
This Bluebell is growing in my back garden . My dear friend Elizabeth who lost her fight with cancer on February 17th dug this one up from the roadside for me last year A happy reminder of our days out . Hope you enjoy. ISO 250 Lens55-200 ,1/250th sec @f5.6

Today I am going on a coach ride with friends from the U3A poetry group to Seamus Heaney Country the Irish poet who died earlier this year. . I hope for a few more photos ! Sun is shining but the sky looks ominous . Bye for now xx

One of my neighbours has some bluebells growing in their garden, and though it looks a bit untended, they do look lovely - better than my dandelions! Wink A very delightful capture and presentation here, Mavis Smile
Have a great day out, despite this slightly gloomy looking weather today...

The rich blue color sets off so nicely against your out of focus green background. Great use of depth of field.
