A Small Town In Berlin

By FotoDen
There's a store that sells model railroads and supplementary elements, like houses, on the way to the Saturday market at Karl-August-Platz in Charlottenburg, with a jumble of buildings displayed on a stand outside the door. It always reminds me of John le Carré's book, A Small Town In Germany, (even though THAT small town is Bonn). So, I just had to take the photo.

Lovely area Charlottenburg, I lived in Spandau for a couple of years (66-68). Nice capture.

They look so real I refused to believe my eyes that a town could be so crowded! Nice one.

Thanks for the comments.
I imagine Spandau isn't the same as when you lived there, mike.

At first, I thought it was a real aerial view, but then I thought nobody would build houses at angles like this, so close together and so architecturally different. But then, it might be fun to live somewhere so very unique like that.
