Wonderful clarity, Paul. Your son gives an excellent foreground and the blue jacket means he doesn't take over the image.

Done the Bowfell/Esk Pike ridge a couple of times, but not in the snow......about 10 or 12 years back now ??.....oooer !!

I like this kind of image where the I can follow the subject's gaze, your son is beautifully positioned in the frame. With him standing still, it gives me a sense of joining in with his appreciation of the view, and his sense of achievement.
