A Stage of Worship?

By sherlob
I've been working on a collection of photographs taken inside places of religious worship for a few months to form an AV as part of a presentation on HDR imaging I volunteered to do at the local camera club.

This took me to Liverpool last weekend and the two Cathedrals therein. What a contrast! Here is the RC cathedral which I liked. The interior is ultra modern and alter (for want of a better word) reminded me of a stage set for a posh conference. It left me wondering about the longevity of its future - the building I am sure will remain, but stage sets are easily modified - hence the question in the title.

Hi Adam!

Lovely shot and superbly presented with the 15mm. I take it this is 'Paddy's Wigwam' as it is known in Liverpool.

Brilliant work and I look forward to seeing more! Especially the Gothic Design of the other Cathederal.

Wonderful colour and superb light, this is maybe a little to modern for me, but not against keeping with the times,

Fine piece of work Adam, the wigwam offers the opportunity for something different which is shown perfectly with this image.

Ian.
