A steep climb!

By TrevBatWCC
Shortly after passing the villa in my previous upload, the boat dropped us off at Bellagio on the opposite side of Lake Como to where we were staying, and I set off to explore this delightful little town. This steep and narrow cobbled street looked very inviting, so set off to see what goodies the shops offered, stopping to take the odd photo or two! Smile V2 was taken from the top of the hill, looking back between the buildings and across Lake Como towards Cadenabbia.

Single Raw images processed in Adobe Camera Raw 7, tweaked in Photomatix Pro 4 and Photoshop Elements 11.

Thanks again to everyone for your votes & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging.

Have you ever been to Holland Trev ?

Bellagio is a pretty spot...but not enough bars at the top of the hill!!! WinkGrin

For a minute I though you had been to Robin Hoods Bay Trevor, it looks very similar. Lovely images.

I love little lanes like this, it can take me hours to get from the bottom to the top and vice versa. My mate always wants to go in M&S and such like when we are on holiday, personally I think you can stay at home for that. It is the little independent shops that make my holidays; always come home with something unique, as for my mate................ she just exchanges it in the local M&S etc so what is the point.

Nicely presented Trev.!

Two characteristically good compositions, Trev. V2 strikes me as more unusual. I do love mountainscapes even though walking up our street can be daunting when I'm tired Smile

Two thoughtfully composed images, Trev!
I was hoping V2 would be a 'looking down' shot and I wasn't disappointed!
Beautiful photographs of a truly beautiful place.
