A summer week in Cape May #31

By handlerstudio
This may seem a little more mundane than my last three sets of photo, particularly the outhouse and garage interior....with the happy looking dog....did anyone look carefully....and at his paws...this dog was not real, but sure could pass...even for a moment to me when i first went inside.

So, also on one of my rides, in Wildwood....who can resist (perhaps if you are of a certain age) a beautifully restored Bug...surfboard and all?

Thanks to everyone who has been enjoying this line of photos....still has a little more way to go, with a pretty unusual set of images.

And in the lead, if you look carefully...you will see my bike behind the car.

And, Still Saturday here...got the shadows in while it is still the day.

The dog sure looked real to me but then who expects to find a statue of a dog in a garage.

The sparse dashboard and thin steering wheel look familiar. After I smashed up the Austin in a Canadian blizzard I was always sure the Volkswagen replacement was my mother's idea of a punishment. No heater, no gas gauge and the back seat was useless given I have a 6 foot boyfriend at the time.

A super capture of this classic and the surf board is a huge plus.

YES!
and there was only one way to go---so----unless one wished to go to one of our out buildings-- or the torn apart bridge! We lived with that goofy sign for over a year---haha!

As to the VW--I liked your last two versions best as excellent photography--- Think I would have stopped to photograph that bug for sure!

That is one very old Beetle…..my oldest brother had a powder blue one back in the late 1960’s …not as old as this one though. They chose a gorgeous aquamarine colour for it. Love the sunspot you caught on the fender in V 3 Peter . Stellar find ! Nice bike
Cheers
