A very Scottish Winter

By Johnnybairdphotography
Scotland a fortnight ago during a heavy snowfall. It was a sketchy drive over a mountain pass and the road behind us closed shortly after we had passed. We took a break to recover nerves and go a wander in the snow. After about an hour wandering it turns out the shot was 5 minutes from the car! I dread to think how it looks now these trees are probably buried.

A truly beautiful snowscape. I love the delicacy of all those spidery little lines getting lost behind the snowflakes.
There's a graphic quality to this that fully lives up to the Fine Art tag.
