a wet day with the herdsman of Etive

Inspired to post the story following "obscured mountain" by PMWilliams

. . . . one of the best known, loved, and is one of the most photographed sights in Scotland.

"I drove 570 miles from home (for a w/end photo meet) to find heavy rain and mist, slept in the car overnight; dodged the frequent rain showers the following day and ended up sharing this location with a photography tour group. They didn't stay to long thankfully, I eventually made the obligatory waterfall image and moved on, wet tired and satisfied to a degree" Wink

Only a landscape photographer knows what you did to get the shot, I have done exactly the same...came home tired and happy. great shot..

Beautifully balanced composition. Good flow as the Coupall falls to meet the Etive.
