A White Feather

By ade_mcfade
A second from pretty much the same position as yesterday's shot.

Slightly different stone poking through the water this time and a feather of course.

Quite liked the light on the right most rock, caught the golden glow of the setting sun really well.

Got some good light for a while last night, very rare that I shoot from this side of the reservoir so a nice change.

I do like this and the feather is lovely, but in all honesty is in the wrong place for it to all add up.
It's nice and white 'cos you have used some flash or other light source, but where it is lying means the stone blocks the light from the sun. It also looks as though the stone is illuminated from the wrong angle, both adding up to make it less believable as an image, for me.

I've done a mod to illustrate my point. Hope you don't mind, but I'd rather be honest about what I see.

In every other respect this is a fine image.
Cheers, Goggz

The addition of the feather is a wonderful touch in this, the icing on the cake.
