A world of rivets and patina

By kw
Exhibition "Aeronauticum" in Nordholz, Germany, near the North Sea. In the outdoor area airplanes and fighter-bombers are exhibited. This USSR-built plane does not interest me as a weapon of war ... but as a machine made up of countless metal parts, rivets and, as you can see, colors. Now she is no longer a danger but an interesting photo subject.

I do like the effect of compression, everything apparently pressed into the same plane.

.Wonderful texture and patina. I agree with Moira re the flattening, excellent.
It is forcing me to "Draw" with my eye, tracing around the shapes on an imaginary flat plane. Pun intendedTongue
Superbly graphic.

It's original purpose was abhorrent; its life as a photographic subject excellent.
A wonderful capture, Klaus.
