Abandon Ship!

By brian1208
I spent an amazing couple of hours on Avon Beach (Christchurch) this morning watching the local sail-boarders playing with the increasing wind an choppy seas.

This youngster (Ali) always puts on a great show and today was no exception, giving me a great opportunity to really test out the CAF mode on the EM-5.

Despite my earlier poor experiences with it and general negative comments about it on the web, under these conditions it performed remarkably well and I have ended up with a collection of action shots that matches (or exceeds) the best I ever managed with my canon gear.

This shot (and the versions I will post) show the effect of a sudden gust on an airborne boarder. The CAF tracked perfectly throughout

Quite superb action shots, the detail in each quite immaculate: love them all but your timing in V 1 is excellent.
