These old boats really make a great subject to photograph and you've done a good job here. Unfortunately you've taken the shot at the wrong time of day as these shots can look majestic with the rising or setting sun.
Here the sun is still fairly high and to your right which has given you a big shadow area on the lower left. had the sun been behind you then this wouldn't have been a problem. Be mindful of the direction of the light source, be it natural or man made.
Also you need to get those background boats out of shot either by moving your perpective when taking the shot or just simply cloning in good old PS.
If I were you I'd come back here when the sun is low in the sky and retake this shot. I'd try to make more of the old lobster pots as well and there's nothing stopping you from rearranging them to suit. Remember your background, moving left and a slightly lower perspective would have got rid at least the two boats. Make the most of textures and old wood such as the name on the side there. Also don't be afraid to wet wood to give it more texture and grain where there is no paint.
