...looks like somebody had a shave and managed to leave without their Wallace & Gromit shaving tackle. Some kind soul had weighed it down with a stone.

A Silly Sunday posting.

Very good Dougie, and even for a silly Sunday, you still give us a beautiful scene. Moira

Brilliant, an exceptionally wonderful foresight, one which brings back so many chilling memories, when as a young, handsome and athletic soldier, one would do just that.

Regards Nathan

How wonderful! Someone doing Extreme Camping in style? So many different possible explanations.

Must be the least likely subjects for f/g interest and to come upon them away up there!

How delightfully silly Smile

It's the thought of the extreme shaving that worries me!

Very intriguing image Dougie; straight out of Conan Doyle! The affair of the missing razor Wink

Did you have a search for the body, Dougie?
I thought such eqiupment was only used for decoration these days. That someone still uses a shaving brush does coma s a surprise for me. Lovely setting though.

Thanks for the comments this morning, some of you smell intrigue, my own first thought was another old guy losing his memory, I wondered when he would discover the loss.

I don't really associate an extreme camper with a Wallace and Gromit shaving set. The plot thickens! Smile love the low hills in the background and grey skies.

I guess he remembered to take the razor. A very unique spot to shave. Lovely open spaces going on for miles......

I could think of a lot worse place to have a shave Dougie. No doubt the kits owner was understandably distracted by such a fine view.

Perfect for a silly sunday. The composition has so much great details beside the shaving parts

This endles space is what captures me every time I am in Scotland. Such an emptiness and still - if you look closely, so much to see... and sometimes real treasures to be found. Smile
