Abbey water

Taken on the meet at Whitby in May last year - this was possibly the most fare weathered part of the meet...




I like the wildlife around the pond here.


Mode - aperture priority.
Aperture - f22.
Shutter speed - 1/125 of a second.


Flippin ech; The weather was dire the day before and we all ended up in the Sea Life center at Scarborough which was very dark and caused me to use a high ISO setting to obtain a reasonable shutter speed without flash. The thing was I forgot to change the setting back the next day until a number of shots had been taken - this is one of them...


Thanks for showing an interest - had to sharpen a bit especially for viewing large purposes but I dont think it's too bad...?

The Abbey ruins look so impressive (will visit one day!) good sky and well done to get all the reflection in, looks even better large!

its not that badly effected and I did the same thing my self.

if you had go up at 4am (having got in from the pub at whitby at about 1am) you would have seen the best weather of the weekend, LOL
