This is an excellent photo of this stunning view !! It brings back many good memories from my mountaineering days in the Natal Drakensberg Smile

A fine Lakeland landscape from this vantage point on the fells, Paul, and I do like to see a figure included at times in such a shot, esp. when it's a family member.
I could stop there too ( always supposing I had enough puff to get there ) to admire that view along Ullswater.

"Master of all I survey", well for that wonderful moment anyway! Grin Not my idea of fun but I certainly can see what would draw someone to reach the heights in more ways than one. The composition, colours and placement of the figure work so perfectly.

The attraction is obvious from seeing this view, and the inclusion of your son helps the viewer to feel involved in the climb.
