Absent-minded?

By saltireblue
At first I thought this lady was stirring her tea with her paint brush, before it dawned on me that she was painting in water colours and that it was merely a tin mug of water used for rinsing her brushes before changing colours. Duh!
As this was taken during a visit to the Peak District, and I clearly did not see what she was doing, does that make me a Peaky Blinder? (cue groans).

Many thanks all the interest in my previous upload - much appreciated.

Thanks for bothering
Malc

If you're too open-minded, your brain falls out and this is how you become absent minded

Excellent candid.

If this were mine I would employ one of my favourite 'gimmicks' and keep the colour on the paint palette.

Just imagine if she absent-mindedly took a drink from it as you were about to click.

Lovely to loose yourself painting outdoors - the mug is probably more stable than a glass container.

My immediate thought too before I read your write-up was that she was reading and stirring her tea with the paintbrush!! 😁 Excellent candid, Malc 👍

Since she never noticed your presence (x2 visits half an hour apart) she could have had any concoction in that mug. Did you check the colour? Guinness substitute, perhaps?
Splendid candid.
