Abstract

Trying out my new 60D. The noise isn't bad at all considering it was ISO3200

I find the noise rather attractive; it certainly doesn't detract. Stunning colour, good use of shallow dof.
I wonder if it might not work better (= be more acceptable for mass viewing) flipped horizontally? Since we read from left to right it might be more logical to put the area of critical focus on the left.

Bill didn't notice that Mods were enabled - he suggests flipping, I'm thinking rotate 90 degrees clockwise so that we 'move' up into the frame. Off to have a go.

Interesting idea both. I was just seeing what the noise was like if I pushed the ISO (and see how the RAW conversion software from Canon behaves!)
@mrswollybill - I do like your modification! You can tell I've been out of the loop for a bit! Smile I've forgotten everything I knew!!
