Acrobatics-Migrant Hawker

By PaulLiley
The aerial display of a Migrant Hawker trying to attract a mate. Caught in mid air outside the Public hide- RSPB - Leighton Moss, North Lancs. Camera set on continuous focussing high shutter speed and hope fopr the best. Sorry its not pin sharp but thought it might be worth including for its shape of body if nothing else. If only I could get my spine to bend like that at my age!!! Watch out for the mating pair in tomorrows upload.

Fantastic shot!!! The shape looks like their mating position, only there is no mate.
I have tried many times and the only continuous focussing I seem to be able to achieve is by hand . I have never had any luck with auto.
