Across the lake

By Ericsamson
A Film Friday shot of Sherborne Castle in Dorset. Film used - Kodak Gold 200 35mm - given a tweak in Affinity software.

Will try to catch up with voting and commenting later - busy with some manly DIY (Dozy Indolent Yawning 🥴 🥱 😴 )

All the best for the weekend, G. 🙂

Love the framing. There's enough foreground to tell me that I'm standing on dry land and not getting my feet wet. I always appreciate that...

Come on Gussie old chap, everyone at the Drones knows that this is your rural retreat. Smile

A careful viewing ( most recommended ) will reveal both the gentle splashing of newts in the lake and Madeline Basset swanning about in the upstairs window ( powerful telescope required, if caught by the local rozzer deny all charges of peeping Tom and claim a bad attack of Twitchers Dillema, with luck he won't have any idea and while the old grey matter is turning it over jump into the two seater and pedal to the metal.)

A lovely pair, oooer missus, of images, makes my shack look positively erm...shacklike.

I will check but I do believe it to be the Earls Barton Soap Box Derby next weekend, teas are on me! Smile

Two excellent images of the Castle framed in the trees. Very good colours, and well done using film, which involves a lot more work and know-how, to get results.
