Action Men

By Sezz
As well as the Living History Field and the Mock battles, there are hundreds of trade and exhibitor stands/tents at the War & Peace Show - I think I managed to walk around most of them during the five days and I met some very lovely people too! As for the Action Men, I just liked them Smile

As always I thank you for your time, your thoughts/comments are very welcome.

Regards - Sarah J x

Nice close up with lots of detail. Action Men seem to have got a lot more sophisticated than when I had some.

Hey Sarah! don't you think that the guy second from right, looks just a little like our Mr Woolybill ?
I'm sure He'd love the title of 'Action Man' Smile

Let's hope that the kids who play with these learn the great folly of war, the millions who have died in the conflicts and the heroes from all sides who did their best for their countries.

There's a pair of characters from TV series and films quite recent and Rommel on the right who almost gave Monty a black eye. The Italians who never wanted to be in the war and had a bad time in Russia after Stalingrad.

Let's hope we get our fighting women and men out of Afghanistan and keep them at home, safe.

They're very lifelike, aren't they? Are these small models or life size? Whatever, they are beautifully detailed, your capture and processing really does them justice, Sarah Wink

Many thanks everyone, appreciated!

John, aw I hadn't noticed but yes you're right, he does - you're our Action Man Bill Wink
Dougie, I agree with your sentiments 100 percent!
Trev, I think they are actual Action Men figures, they had the more traditional looking ones there too!

It took me a few seconds to realise what I was looking at when I opened this up Sarah. What a clever and interesting image this makes though.

The French one looks so 'French'. Excellent line up. I think I've still got some in our loft.
