Superb shot. The lichen covered rocks are an excellent textural b/g for the snake. Great shot.

Hi Steve

A cracking shot IMHO - great looking female adder. I would have preferred to see a wee bit more of that super lichen covered rock - but lets face it was your first photographic encounter. No doubt you'll get better opportunities the next time and the time after that.
