As we sailed down the Ganges we stopped off to visit some typical villages. It was wonderful to see the typical Indian way of life in places off the beaten track. I felt privileged to be welcomed by the villagers and this lovely little boy followed us everywhere we went. He was delighted when we presented him with a ball (we had bought a sack full of children's toys in Delhi to give to the village children that we met along our journey).
I remembered to use the on-camera flash and dialled in a -2 flash compensation as I thought that this would just give enough flash light to light up the little boys face and reduce the harsh shadows caused by shooting in the midday sun
V2 shows the same shot with the black points re-set; V3 = B & W version and v4 = the original shot from the camera before any processing.
I'd appreciated any feedback on the crop and processing.
Thanks for looking.
