adjust your eyes

By aitchbrown
Not quite as emotive as yesterday's black and white image, but the sun gave me a celebration of orange, which I quite liked. You do, however, need to adjust your eyes to what you're seeing - the brain has to scramble around a bit to find reality.

It's a sort of reflection reflecting a reflection and has not been manipulated other than a wee tweak to the contrast and levels...

Anyway, thanks for being here. helen x

PS I've added a version in black and white for Moira. The figure on the left is reflected in the oblong cube on the right - does that make it any easier?

Like this a lot - I found it difficult to find a connection between the different reflections.
B&W potential here???

Is this an art installation? If so, where? Or is it very clever photoshopping? Either way, it's a very engaging image.

It is an art installation; at a place called Low Force in Upper Teesdale in County Durham. However, I believe it's being removed today. Didn't photoshop anything other than levels and a bit of contrast. Tricky subject to be honest, but Thank you CrustyPics for your interest.

Thanks for the award Ron - much appreciated. I thought it was perhaps too confusing an image, but you've restored my faith in the creative process. Ta muchly. xx

It has to be the colour version for me, especially with that gorgeous golden light.
This is a wonderfully enigmatic image, loving the reflection of a reflection, and the ghostly figure.
I didn't know there were those large oblong structure with the figures too.
