This water drenched Hypericum has been beautifully captured in excellent detail in every way: the b/g does detract from an otherwise excellent floral image and although it has been thrown OOF by the use of wide aperture, it does still draw the eye unfortunately.
Perhaps had you moved a little to the right and shot at an angle rather than full face on to the flower you might have avoided this.
PS. I have had a look through your portfolio and come back to append this further comment: in fact you have some very accomplished flower images which have been a pleasure to view. Keep up the good work, Diana..........R.

thank you Ronnie, your comments are very much appreciated. I did take some at other angles but this one came out the best lol. I know I still have a lot to learn and feedback like yours is a great help to me Smile Diana

Wonderful crisp detail on the flower.
The flower is very beautiful. I too find the background distracting from an otherwise wonderful photo.
