Against All Odds......

By teocali
I watched this brave little Blue Tit on the fence outside our kitchen window, battling bravely against the elements to get to the feeder. He finally managed but it was such a funny sight! This series of shots was taken from inside through the glass, handheld but with elbows propped on kitchen table to support lens! Not the most brilliant of detail, but a bit of fun nevertheless Smile
Settings: F/4 1/500sec ISO400 500mm manual handheld

Many thanks for your continued support on my previous uploads - very much appreciated as always.

We certainly don't appreciate how difficult a bird's life is, sitting in the warm tapping on a computer.
Great set of images.
#1 looks like a greyhound cornering.

great set of shots to keep by for those days when you feel down and have a need to look back at the dreadful weather we have experience today, poor birds recently have had to suffer extremes of change - enjoyed viewing this set

Excellent series of this great little bird Sylvia. He is trying so hard to get a foothold for the feeder. I do think you have done incredibly well to take these with a handheld 500--even resting upon a table. Well done indeed.
