Against All Odds

By jasontheaker
Nature has a magical ability to find ways of developing in adverse circumstances. It is happening all around us and we all too often fail to reflect on the positive lessons it offers us. I myself am guilty of this and need to consciously remind myself that ‘life is good’, even when it seems misted by unwanted influences.

I wish I could live in the now, you see so much more, smell so much more, hear so much more, appreciate so much more. I from time to time get glimpses of the now, but not enough!

Superb monochrome capture & image rendering with terrific "photographic impact," and excellent greyscale tones, clarity, & comp. Great work! Regards...Peter

What an absurd place to put a tree! Makes for an excellent photograph, though.

Remember seeing this in the Landscape Photographer of the Year awards book 2. A beautifully composed image that has often been copied. Credit to you for spotting it before the crowds Smile
