Alien ?

By BRabbitts
Managed to catch this dragonfly hatching on my pond this morning. It seems like they tend to hatch during the night or early morning and all I usually see are the empty cases( I have found about 15 or so this year but this is the first one I have seen hatching in daylight.
Taken in Av mode.

Sorry Glen but just over 2 hours after I took this shot we had over 25mm of rain in 45 minutes and I dont know what happened to the Dragonfly all that I could find was the empty case, I hope she had dried out and flown before the storm hit.
