All-a-glow

While still experimenting with external flashes my lillies came into flower, the aroma when you walk in the room is wonderful so after 'watching' them for a while I grabbed the camera and flash and as the mags tell you 'try different angles' so i'm upside down photographing this one and using the tiled hearth as a b/ground.... the things we do!!!!

Thank you for the response on my previous upload especially to Jennnn (Taggart), Stew (BFGStew) and Chriscj who gave me some useful tips... THANK YOU I have yet to brew some more frothy coffee and retry using your advice Smile

what a lovely image, the sharness and the dof gives it a 3d effect, the contrast of the black and white with the brown standing out very well, glad to see your making use of my softbox and flash, G
