All Alone

By Nikonuser1
We had several pairs of Collard Doves in the garden, one unfortunatly died leaving this one all alone, it spends mosi of the time on the feeding table and the pergolar, the second image was a Starling came to feed looked at the Dove and thought better of it then flew off, caught it about to take off 1 leg is allready off the feeding dish.

A big thanks for all your comments and votes on yesterdays upload, green on red , as allways they are vey much appreciated.SmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmile

Having read your intro I guess I might be reading more into it than I should but the dove does appear to have a look of resignation about it: sad story though.
And V 2 is very nicely timed just before the starling's exit.
