Revisiting old images gives us a chance to see more deeply into past images. This intimate landscape is at Death Valley National Park in the Mojave desert of California.
I find the textures, shapes and colours of this image fascinating! Was this shot taken from a plane, a hot air balloon, or just a very high mountain?
Kind Regards
Alf

HI Alf, The image was taken on the ground. I may have been elevated somewhat on a hill. I wasn't too far away. This is a typical view from Zabriske Point at Death Valley National Park. Death Valley in the Mojave desert in eastern California and almost straddles the Nevada border not too far from Las Vegas. It is the largest US national park in area and has incredible views. Because of the heat, January to March are probably the preferred months to visit. There is lots of erosion, as well as ground irregularities, and sand dunes.
Thanks for your comment. Larry
