I arrived at Curbar Edge with some trepidation as although I have visited several times in the past, I had yet to feel satisfied with any of the images I'd taken there. Perhaps it's just being in good company but there are several shots from the shoot that I'm at least comfortable with and this is the first.

I've seen these conditions before with the inverted mist in the valley and it does make for a great backdrop. BTW the Tog in shot is Warney - thanks Nick.

Thanks also to Mike, Paul, Fran, Martin and Martin (sounds like a firm of solicitors) for a very enjoyable day - good company guys and gal.

As always thanks for viewing and any comments you might leave.

Thanks Dave, I don't think it would have half the impact without the figure.

Hope your paying him (Warney) for the stand in, the light catching him is terrific.

Thanks Fran. I think was from the time before he'd decided to throw his lenses over the Edge lol.
Actually there was a suspiciously car shaped hole at Surprise view so I think someone has been very surprised recently not least by the sudden application of gravity.

The contrast of textures and the subtle use of the delicate colours work so well together...
