Amazing contrast between the sharp and the fluttering wings - you'd expect the whole
bird to be blurred when flapping his wings!
Sorry you're having problems with internet too.

An excellent image, Trev - with the stillness of the bird's body and head and fluttering of the wings!
Superb timing.

I really like this because he is busy doing what jays do. Hiding food for later. Nice work! TG

IS he hiding food, or snitching food----?

I watched a nuthatch hide some food here and there and thought "how clever!' only to then see a chick-a-dee sneak around and retrieve the food--

Great capture of this hovering bird!

I love the difference between the blured wings and the rest of the sharp bird, a cracker mate.

A beautiful capture of this darling Jay, a bird which never seems to sit still long enough to poke a lens at...

Thanks again for the frogs on the lily leaves - brilliant!! Grin A super capture here, too, especially getting the movement of the wings, rather than a static shot Smile

Jays will be Jays I suppose

No consolation Trev, but all other sites I use are so well behaved, but EPZ always has the odd hiccup or two with meSad
